Exhibitions
For many emerging artists, there are a lot of barriers to entry — lack of information, lack of connections, and lack of financial resources. This is why we created the Arrived Art Exhibitions.
Our Exhibitions remove these barriers by curating unique gallery shows with little to no cost for the artist. We do this by raising money via donations to help artists pay for materials (e.g. photo printing, frames, canvases, etc.), and marketing of their work. Additionally, since we are not a gallery, we do not charge a commission fee, which is often a pain point for artists where it is common to see a commission fee of 50% of artwork sold.
By showing in our exhibitions, artists have the opportunity to gain experience showing in a gallery, increase their exposure, and expand their network within the creative community. For many artists in our shows, this will be their first time exhibiting art; and we help guide them through that.
We then donate the proceeds from the exhibitions to a local non-profit or organization in the city where the show was held. We believe in giving back to the communities that welcome us in. To date, we have donated to the Oakland School of Arts (Oakland, CA), Amplify Outside (Detroit, MI), and Arts for All (Brooklyn, NY).
